Project Management Professional

W.M. Schultz Construction, Inc. has an opportunity for you! We are seeking a Project Management professional for detail oriented work within a fast paced schedule to administer heavy civil construction projects. Specialty with water, wastewater, sewer, pipeline, facility, and plant builds is a must!

The successful candidate will likely come from the heavy civil, building, or steel industry. Experience needed as a general contractor and working with internal labor & equipment resources to build the work. Excellent contract administration experience is needed with preference given to those demonstrating a successful track record with NYS OGS, DOT, and related public organizations.

Ultimately we’re looking for our PMs to be integrated with estimating work to have a full understanding of jobs with a quick transition to managing captured jobs. Prior estimating experience preferred.

 

Job Requirements:

• 5 years experience in fields listed above
• Fully versed in review of specs/plans, take-offs, determining scope of work, and communicating the same.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates, documentation, and submittals.
• Ability to identify changes in scope and manage charge orders.
• Capability to prepare proposals when necessary, including information to document the basis of proposal.
• Exceptional ability to coordinate both subcontract and internal workforce.
• Requires familiarity with computers and most general software, preferably scheduling and estimating software.
• Able to communicate to all parties in a professional manor both verbally and written.
• Must ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry practices.

Qualifications:

• B.S. Civil, other related degrees or equivalent work experience.
• Must be US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.

Versatile Foremen and Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators

W.M. Schultz Construction Inc group of companies, is seeking versatile FOREMEN and HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS with experience in cast-in-place concrete, general site work, and process pipe. 

Our group of companies is a leader in the heavy civil construction industry with work on infrastructure projects in the transportation, water/wastewater, site development, and utility fields.
