Then this is the right role for you! W.M. Schultz Construction Inc is seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Estimator to assist our project management team in daily activities, aide our superintendents & foreman in building the job, and provide estimating support for new bids.
In this role you’ll be responsible for managing RFIs & submittals, scoping work with subcontractors, developing takeoffs and bids, estimating & managing the labor force productivity, scheduling, job cost management and more!
The “Right” Person for this job will enthused by doing a different type of project each season. We do water and waste water treatment plants, deep underground pipelines, pump stations, whole bridge replacements – the actual project type can vary as long as the work is complex & demanding! The successful candidate must be a motivated self-starter and work well in an organization that is fast paced, professional, and goal oriented.
This role is intended to be a stepping stone into an Estimator or Project Manager position. It may require fieldwork and/or working from a field office. Travel to job site(s) within a 1-2hr radius of Albany may be required; company vehicle will be provided for business related travel.
